In today’s social networking age the flagger has emerged as a nasty creature!
Essentially a flagger is someone who finds anything even if it is minute offensive. They are usually from the group called conservatives though not exclusively. Some make it their duty to surf and visit sites/blogs/pages with the sole intention of reporting/flagging the said site/blog/page. All, whilst fully aware that the content was not aimed at them.
Flaggers are nasty creatures and would not hesitate to tell you exactly what they think of you, you’re page/blog or your family for that matter. In the event of replying to such type of persons be aware that they will return to see if they have suceded in whatever their intentions were and call YOU, yes you, the flamer.
Now some would argue that it is each individuals duty to report inapropiate content. I beg the question what exactly is offensive/inapropriate content? Most blogs hosts’ or social networks’terms of use and conditions are to put it lightly vague and wide open to interpretation. Which interpretaion do you follow? The flaggers?
I question these type of people and their way of thinking…. They are good for one thing though. That being increased traffic to your page. See, a flagger can never keep an “offensive” site to themselves. Nope, they will enlist others to join their futile cause. In the process giving you more subscriptions/visitors/friends than enemies….
Yes, the flagger…a strange being..
